Secure payments via Paddle

All payments for AI Befreier are securely handled by our official reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. When you check out, your card or PayPal details go straight to Paddle's PCI-DSS–compliant payment system — we never see, handle, or store your card data. Paddle is the seller of record on your statement and on your receipt, calculates and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax for you, and is your point of contact for the financial side of every order. 30-day money-back guarantee — how to request a refund

Not happy for any reason? You're covered by a no-questions-asked 30-day money-back guarantee. Here's the exact process:

  1. Within 30 days of your purchase, email us at support@flowent.de from the address you used at checkout.
  2. Include your Paddle Order ID (or the txn_… license code) so we can locate your order instantly. See “Where to find your Order ID” below if you're not sure where it is.
  3. We confirm your request and forward the refund to Paddle, the Merchant of Record that processed your payment.
  4. Paddle issues the refund back to your original payment method — the same card or PayPal account you paid with. You'll receive a confirmation email from Paddle once it's done.
  5. The refund typically lands within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.

That's it — no forms, no phone calls, no hoops. After a refund, the extension simply returns to the free tier on its next routine license check.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically and are billed by Paddle. You're always in control of your subscription, and cancelling is straightforward:

When you cancel, you won't be charged again, and your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for — you keep every premium feature until then. Need a different billing cycle or have a tax/invoice question? Email us and we'll sort it out.

What to include

  1. Which AI platform is affected? — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok or DeepSeek (name the exact one).
  2. Your browser & version — e.g. "Chrome 131". Open chrome://version and copy the first line.
  3. Extension version — open chrome://extensions, find AI Befreier, and copy the version number shown under its name.
  4. What you were trying to do — which button or menu you clicked, and on which page.
  5. What happened vs. what you expected — describe the actual result, then what you thought should happen instead.
  6. A screenshot or screen recording — if you can, attach one. A picture of the failure saves a lot of back-and-forth.

How do I install AI Befreier?

Install it from the Chrome Web Store (works in Chrome and Chromium browsers like Edge, Brave, Arc). After installing, pin the icon, open a supported AI chat (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek) and click the icon. The free tier works immediately — no account, no sign-in.

How do I activate the license I purchased?

Open the extension → Options → License section → paste your license code (it starts with txn_…) → click Activate. The code is shown on the success page right after checkout and also arrives in your Paddle receipt email. If you bought from the extension, the license can also auto-activate on that device within a few minutes.

Where do I find my license code (Order ID)?

Right after a successful purchase it is shown on the success page, and Paddle also emails you a receipt (subject line from Paddle — check spam/promotions) that contains the transaction code. Your txn_… license code is the same value as your Paddle Order ID. Lost it? Email support@flowent.de from the address you used at checkout and we will resend it.

What is your refund policy?

You have a no-questions-asked 30-day money-back guarantee. Email support@flowent.de with your Paddle Order ID (or txn_… license code) within 30 days; we forward it to Paddle, which refunds your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. After the refund, the extension drops back to the free tier on the next re-verification cycle. See “Billing, refunds & subscriptions” above for the full step-by-step flow.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions (yearly or monthly) are billed by Paddle (Merchant of Record). Use the “Manage subscription” / cancellation link in any Paddle invoice or receipt email, or email support@flowent.de and we will cancel it for you. You won’t be charged again and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

What does the yearly subscription include?

Unlimited exports across all 6 AI platforms plus continuous UI-update maintenance (selector upkeep as vendors change their interfaces) for as long as your subscription is active. It renews automatically every 12 months and can be cancelled anytime.

Can I use my license on multiple devices?

Premium = 1 device, Enterprise = 5 devices (same for the monthly tiers). Activation is tracked by an anonymous device hash. To move a license, open Options on the old device and deactivate it to free a slot.

A platform is no longer detected after the AI site updated

AI platforms change their page layout from time to time. First update AI Befreier to the latest version (chrome://extensions → Update) and reload the chat. If it still fails → use our one-click Bug Report below — layout fixes are our top priority.

What data do you store about me?

Your chats never leave your browser — there is no chat-content cloud sync and no telemetry (the only thing that syncs across your Chrome profile is an anonymous monthly export counter — just a number, no chat content). The license backend stores only a Paddle transaction ID and an anonymous SHA-256 device hash. We cannot link a license back to a person. See “Your data & how to delete it” and “Your data & privacy” below for full details and deletion steps.

Your data & how to delete it

AI Befreier is built local-first. Everything you create with the extension — your chats, your settings, your export history and your saved "vaults" — is stored only in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB) on your own device. Your chats, exports and vaults are never synced to a cloud, never sent to our servers, and never shared with third parties. Because it lives on your machine, you stay in full control of it at all times. (The one exception: an anonymous monthly export counter — a single number with no chat content or personal data — syncs across your Chrome profile via chrome.storage.sync so your free-tier limit stays consistent across your devices.)

What happens when you uninstall

The moment you click "Remove from Chrome" (in chrome://extensions → Remove), Chrome permanently deletes all of AI Befreier's local data from your device. Your chats, settings, export history and vaults are erased immediately and cannot be recovered — by you or by us. None of that content ever touched our servers, so there is nothing left for us to hold. (One small exception: an anonymous export counter — a single number with no chat content or personal data — may remain in your Chrome profile sync after uninstalling; you can clear it via chrome://settings sync or by clearing chrome.storage.sync.)

How to delete everything — step by step

  1. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions (or click the puzzle-piece icon → Manage extensions).
  2. Find AI Befreier in the list.
  3. Click "Remove", then confirm "Remove" in the dialog.
  4. That's it — Chrome instantly and permanently deletes all of AI Befreier's local data (chats, settings, export history and vaults) from this device. It is unrecoverable. (An anonymous export counter — a single number with no chat content or personal data — may remain in your Chrome profile sync; clear it via chrome://settings sync or by clearing chrome.storage.sync if you want to remove it too.)

Prefer to clear the data without uninstalling? Open the extension → Options and use the reset/clear controls there, or clear this site's storage from Chrome's settings. Either way the data is removed locally from your device.

The one thing stored outside your browser — and how to erase it

To validate your premium seat, we run a minimal license backend. It stores exactly one anonymous pair: your Paddle transaction ID and a one-way SHA-256 hash of your device identifier. That's all. It holds no chats, no names, no email address and no message content, and the device hash cannot be reversed back to a person. We keep this single record only to confirm that a paid license is active.

Under the GDPR right to erasure (Article 17), you can ask us to delete this license record too. Just email support@flowent.de from the address you used at checkout and we will erase it. (Note: erasing the license record also deactivates premium for that license.)

What we store

Delete your data

  1. Remove local data instantly: open the extension → Options → "Clear local data", or simply uninstall the extension from chrome://extensions. This wipes every export and setting stored on your device.
  2. Deactivate your license: in Options → License → Deactivate. This frees the device slot and removes the device hash association.
  3. Erase your license record: email support@flowent.de from the address you used at checkout and ask us to delete your license data. We action verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
